busted butt to make sure i get unloaded and REloaded so i wouldn't have to do what i didn't want to do. spend the weekend in dallas heat. by the time i got unloaded there was nothing to go fetch.
so, here i sit with the whole weekend to fix my tablet. and i'm stuck in a lousy 3g area just halfway between ft.worth and waco. and it looks like my just bought walmart sandisc micro sdhc does't want to work anymore either. supposed to have a wide load going to oklahoma. but for some reason the office ddin't give me my load info. so i have no idea where i'm headed for pickup. so i can make attempt at finding a walmart somewhere and maybe some place with 4g to park for the weekend. REALLY WANT TO GET MY TABLET WORKING AGAIN. least it woulda given me something to do for the weekend.

tons of threads on installing anything you want on my tablet. but NOT ONE D--- INSTRUCTION FOR LOADING UP FROM SCRATCH.
manufactures have to load these things up SOMEHOW.
my htc phone had the software to download and install from the computer. bricked or not. -
This week sucked. I could not figure out for the life of me why they kept trying to get me to Atlanta during the day. Several short runs in a row add up to McDonalds pay for the week. Total waste of time being away from home. Finally Thursday I find out that they needed my truck at the Atlanta yard because they were selling it. I guess they decided they did not want the Cascadia's with the Cummins engines. So they are routing all drivers with them into the yard and giving them new trucks. So I traded my 35k mile truck for a 300 mile truck. Both were 2014 Cascadias. But this one has a DD-15, Opti-idle, and had an inverter installed already.
And a HUGE difference was that the seat is better. The seat in the last truck was killing my back, neck, arms etc.Panhandle flash Thanks this. -
Well, I'm empty and sitting at a trk stop in Wretham, Ma. Can't reload till tomorrow, then have 3 drops on Tue., all in NJ. Can't begin to tell you just how thrilled I am with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

least your in cooler weather. i'm sitting in carls corner. office never gave me my load information for the oversize i'm taking into oklahoma. hope that chick gets in the office at 6 a.m. and this load better be close to dallas.
was hoping to get a waco load. i should learn to stop hoping. -
nice of the company that was receiving the oversized loads to call me TONIGHT. and say the loads were cancelled.
think i'll take a load of RR ties to philly in the morning. -
Snowwy how are you liking the step deck? I have pulled them a few times and am more a fan of a regular flatbed but just curious how you like it

I made it to the house between loads and thanks to US Foods I only get a half a day since it took them 6hrs to offload me. The sad part is they only receive 1 truck on Sunday mornings. It frustrates the hell out of me to sit that close to home and being held at the dock. I guess next week is going to be a rinse and repeat of this week. Gotta run through the shop in the morning and check my batteries on the truck. Seems like I might have one or two duds in there. It almost did not start again this morning. I hope it is not the starter again since that went out a couple of month ago.
California here I come again.
I think this is trip number 20 in a row between WA and CA. It is time for a change of scenery. Also I just looked at my time wasted at loading docks and it makes me want to go puke. I waited 22hrs in the last 4 days at shippers and receivers.

i don't like 53's. that extra 5 feet is nothing but wasted space and a PITA becuase of closed axle states. and i don't like the trailer i have. who slants the top deck UPWARDS. the back is 4 higher then the front. there's no rub rail over the wheel wells so i can't strap in those areas. and the boxes up front are too close to the trailer. so i can't strap in that 4 feet area on either side. winches won't fit.
step is nice in that you can haul machinery. it's too bad that rates are lower when the trailer is more expensive then a flat.
also be nice if we had ramps. missing out on a lot of loads that require ramps. also had a few receivers where i've had to wait for a transport with ramps becuase they don't have docks. why they don't have at least a portable is beyond me.
