got a load that picks up here at thew okc terminal going to lenexa ks. total os 340 miles and don't have to be there till 1400 tomorrow. probably could've stayed and do a reset and have it running pretty close to getting there on time. decided to hook up to it today and get up and leave at 0600 tomorrow. went over to flying j to reweigh load and do a 10 here. take a shower and better food options here. drive safe

Just curious, but, can you adjust the times (like us company drivers do with the Mac9) when you are using Mac30?

Anyone have issues with Denver planners? They send a preplan then in the same instant remove the plan. All the messages come in at the same time. This happened to me many times on to different occasions. That problem and always getting trapped in puelbo, co have made me dislike Colorado a lot. Lol

Finally got a plan out of there hauling cans from coors. Heading to Wisconsin

I have been told yes by my DM and no by ECT at night. Supposedly when you accept an offer off MAC 30, it is the same as committing. Now during the day I can just call my DM, find out what it really is and accept an offer and adjust the times. At night dealing with ECT, they are not going to tell you any thing, so I loose many loads. I know that Scotty has been having some problems. Accepts a MAC offer and then he is auto-dispatched before he even gets the pplan.

Lathrop Terminal, 140 miles closer to the first stop

yeah my dispatch showed the preplanned tcall too....the DM said at willows it sounded like the planners got me as a bait and hook...

anyway never heard anything so I called this morning to Lathrop and talked to a planner directly who was actually very nice. She said she didnt have any loads right now but if I go ahead and deliver these loads she will make sure the miles are updated and she would stack me with something so she gave me some loads and times after I told her I at least want something decent delivering before Wednesday so it goes on this check. I got to choose which one I want to pick up but its a live load at noon, I asked her if the time can be adjusted just in case I dont get unloaded on time so she gave me her direct line and told me to call her at the first stop when they start unloading and she will see if she can adjust if we need to and she said I could try delivering to both places early. First stop is Escalon, CA at 7am then I have to shoot up to Woodland for the 2nd stop by 11am and then shoot over to West Sacramento to pick up the next load delivering in Tucson, AZ

So if all goes well I will manage to end the week with at least 2186 miles, not great but better than what I was predicting and hopefully they can get me something decent out of Tucson so I can begin next weeks check, depending how many hours I have left to drive this load tomorrow then I should be in Tucson Tuesday night.

You guys want to maximize your miles? Here's how not to do it. When you get a load GO! ... Run, Forest, Run! ... Do not sit on it.

You could have been in Lenexa by now, with all night to sit on your butt there. Call the customer in the morning and see if you can deliver early ... if not, start your clock in the afternoon, go deliver and have almost a full 11 to start your next load tomorrow, with these 340 miles already done.

lenexa ks.. delivering at the coca cola plant. got into dock after waiting about 15 minutes. noticed my nav on qc froze about 12 miles from here. used the step by step window and ended up missing a turn. pulled over and called dm to see if he could help. ended up being .5 miles from place.had just parked past the street in needed. so backed up safely and found it. still have no signal

It's good you could back up safely.

I haven't had GPS problems since 9/13, but I don't use the QC GPS.

I have noticed, however, my RM510 will sometimes lock up if it has had to recalculate the route too many times.
It happens when I follow the fuel route and my RM seems dead set to route me another way.
    It's brain just freezes.

Turning it off and rebooting usually works, but that is really not an option with the QC while in motion.

I just invested in the RM520. I'll get it on my next home time.
Hopefully, with the newer maps, it will be more reliable.

And me, I'm still bouncing between Manteno, IL and Lafayette, IN - moving new 137xxx trailers to the terminal.

I've been running recap hours, and not very many. So I've been able to make one 200 mile round trip per day.
    I'm moving trailer #3, out of 4.
Tomorrow morning I'll deliver #3, and hopefully get #4 finished. Then I have better hours coming in, so I'm hoping I can get a load out of here with more miles.

At least I am using my hours each day, so I haven't had to take a 34.
I hate the 34 now, because unless it is timed just right it ends up being a 43.
