    If I worked for HR at a trucking company and I saw bad spelling and grammar on someones resume, I would not select that person for the position..

    In trucking that only applies to office personel. Proper spelling & grammar is irrelevant for drivers & mechanics. Drivers & mechanics make more money than the office personel also, unless they're with a crappy company. A high school dropout in trucking can make more money than most college grads, ie., $65K for chemical tanker/hazmat drivers.
