I just applied for a driving job and the manger said he has to run a "PSP Report" on me. He explained it's a record check of all inspections a CDL driver receives. I've never heard of this before. Is it tied in with the CSA? Can someone shed some light on this?
What is a "PSP Report?"

Psp is pre employment screening program. They run your history for accidents, etc.

You've been a truck driver for seven years, a member of the forum for nine months, 1100 posts and never heard of the PSP program??? Try the DOT website you can buy your own for $10!

It was part of the CSA 2010 program--so hardly new--it contains 5 years of crash data and 3 years of roadside inspection results---it doesn't contain your MVR data, that national system is called CDLIS and carriers use that system to check your MVR. It was called Preemployment Screening Program because it was created to give carriers a quick way to look at that data.

You don't have to pay for a copy. Under the privacy act you can get a copy for free. You just have to file the right paperwork.
