new broker, new bond

    Any veteran or new brokers have any suggestions for a good surety bond company? I just finished school and right before the new bond 75k. I have searched online, its really hard trying to find someone to work with you with a credit score less than 600!! I know there has to be a company who will help me with a BMC-84 bond...and get my freight brokering company up and running...any suggestions? please...:biggrin_25519:

    I would venture to guess that this is probably the absolute worst time ever to be opening a freight brokering business.
    Your thinking is right by staying away from owning trucks but your timing is terrible.
    We may eventually be forced to face the realities of a big intrusive government and what it does to business, but I doubt I will happen anytime soon.
    We have to hit dead stop, rock bottom for people to finally get it.

    This newbond brokers have to pay. Some will go out of business. Trucking companies, big ones will broker and haul. They will lower the rates. But do really think they will monopolize the whole industry? I dont think so. Interested in your feed back.
