What rpm's does a c15 idle at(MBN)? I looked at one today and it was idling at 700 rpm. Maybe the gauge is off?

Also wondering whats the rpm difference in running11R22.5's and 295/75r22.5's?

The RPM is set through the computer settings. Normally set at 700 RPM's. The difference without having the formula in front of me would be top end speed and it will also effect what gear you are going to have to run to get the best torque/speed/gear. Don't change tires without having computer recalculated.

295 isn't a choice on this chart but there is only 3 MPH difference between 11r's and 275's

CAT allows the engine idle speed to be programmed from a low of 600 RPM to a high of 800 RPM. The factory default setting is 700 RPM. Now the difference in fuel burned at idle can be as much as 0.2 of a gallon per hour of fuel between 600 RPM and 700 RPM. A lot of fleet trucks set the idle to 600 RPM to save fuel at idle.
