I wouldn't put it on my door because the 4 wheelers will call and complain. Besides you have your company name city and state so its easy enough to find you

Phone number isn't on the side of my door but with a smart phone it's not hard to look up. I've been called in, my boss just tell them they're lucky to be alive and to learn to drive, but not in that many words.:biggrin_2559:

I had one call me a month ago to complain about running a red light, she thought she was going to tell on some driver and get them in trouble or maybe fired. I got business cards and every time I give one out someone calls wanting you to do something no one else wants to do. Like, do you move horses, and we need some scrap pallets picked up, or do you run up to NY NY.

You'll get calls from people that know NOTHING about the business.

I don't run the city , state or phone number anymore, just company and DOT number. ..keeps it nice and clean that way. Back when I had my phone number I used to get texts all the time from members on another forum where I had a lot of pics, something like "TRUCKON?" It was kind of cool:)

Nope. Too many cranks and I don't have the desire to listen to or deal with it. The chances you will get work from someone reading a number off your door are very slim.

For about a year now I've had graphics the back of my flatbed that read "Love my driving? Call [blah-blah-blah] to lay a compliment on me!".

Ain't had one call yet. I'm starting to think they don't like my driving.

it is rather fun when they call, complaining. try this , if they are calling while you are rolling down the road, ask them what they are driving. when you spot the goofy four wheeler, read them their tag number and ask if its them? if they yes, say that's odd my driver just called in your tag number to us and said you almost made him wreck, we called the state police, they should be there shortly to straighten this out and look at our drivers dash cam footage, then watch em take the next exit.

I once had someone call on one of my drivers tailgating him in the left lane. I asked if he knew how to avoid this? he said how? I said, get your slow ^&% out of the left lane. he hung up on me

i was thinking about putting my number on the door. iv been hauling belly dump and been approached twice at truck stops by people needing belly dump trucks, so i was thinking it might be beneficial to advertise my phone number. at the same time i don't care to advertise my my phone number to the no driving 4wheelers
