Training, i learned how to drive by myself, just jumping in a truck, that management designated for me to take, in an out of state, but thats not more unethical than a misdemeanor possession charge from 2006? Yeah right!!! I've driven over 17,000 miles for cooper and they raymond butler used me to his advantage, you live and you learn!!! Im moving on to bigger and better things, thanks for my cdl's aaa cooper!!

Ok speeddemon what about the driver thats been there for 30 years and this was his last year before his retirement, an he pulled a truck away from the dock not knowing his door was open, because he had checked before, he pulls away from the dock and raymond butler fired himjust for that!! Could it be aaa cooper just didnt want to pay this man his retirement that he worked so hard for and earned?!! Thats exactly it!!!
RookieJ1987 Thanks this. -
Or the other driver that had been working there 28 years, he had a set run to valdosta, everyday for 20 years, raymond butler comes out of the blue and tell this driver that he now has to take a charlotte n.carolina run. The driver was so pissed off he stormed out an went home and came back the next day, and raymond butler told him he was fired for leaving!! Its managers like this in these companies that dont have compassion for the drivers that makes their company thrive, that shouldnt have a job, its that ahole of a manager that should be unemployed an not that driver who has dedicated 28/30 of their lives to make your company a success, and this is how you show your appreciation!!

The manager did not lie. You did. The manager gave you crappy advice and you took it then you come here and say the company is bad, sounds like bad advice from a bad manager.
deathB4decaf, yankatank and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -

Ok, if i told the manager upfront about the charge, an then ask a second time if he was sure i should not put it on the application, an he knows that he advised me not to put it on the app, then he is the one that lied, i told him the truth about it, as well as the other manager, but the first manager is the one that withheld the information, because i told him upfront, why is that so hard to comprehend?!! Then not only that he went on to not do a background check on me. Why do you think he didnt do a background check?!! Because he already knew, an he kept it under wraps, but he needed bodies in that warehouse loading those trucks, and moving that freight at the time, so he withheld the information, and didnt run a background check, an he hired me anyway!! So who's unethical? The one that gave the information, or the one that concealed the information?!!
