jwb1485 thanks for the info, im going to join the wel team on monday and am excited. I talked with a few drivers at the local truck stop and seems like a good place to be. I, unlike others (dehumand) understand its not going to be a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, but from what i hear and read sounds like a stand up company.

★★★kiss, randokuky. I'm sure you'll fit right in with the others of that ★★★kiss army. I've ten fingers with things I could say but only two of them you all deserve. Can anyone guess which two they are? :smt077

Hey Randokuky; I drove for WEL 11-2010 to 11-2012. I left due to decreasing miles even when I ran OTR. They kept putting me on local/regional trips for no extra pay. Most of my "long hauls" were under 900 miles. They are a good co. with good people, but I just really wanted more (miles/money). I got hired by a small Idaho Co. (close to home) and avg. 3400 miles per week. You may consider asking about regional. Higher pay per mile and home more often. Whatever you choose, best of luck & stay safe out there.

JWB1485 I am a 51 year old who just sold his business to pursue driving. I start orientation November 4th. When you are unloading are you hand carrying the packages or are you using a two wheeler or other device? I'm in decent shape with an incredible energy level but I was just curious.
