    Actually it's one of the prettiest stretches of interstate I've ridden a bike on.
    Got a good look at some rams about 10 feet off the highway.
    Might not look quite so pretty from a big truck window... :eek:(

    You know what's funny? Everyone gripes about I-70. But when I was in Denver this Spring, going to Grand Junction with new vehicles, I got the best fuel mileage I had ever gotten out of my old truck. Yes it's a bear getting to the top, but it's downhill from there. And I was empty coming back, and there is no more scenic piece of interstate. I wish even more drivers were scared of it!:biggrin_2559:

    one of the suckiest stretches of highway in america to be on----errrrrrrrrorrrrrrrrr


    Glenwood Canyon, CO ---i70 mm 121ish ....Is a must drive and def stop for a 30min hos break right there. When you have the time!

    I try and plan it so I can spend the night in the rest area. That is a beautiful place, day or night!
