Thanks to everyone on this forum. Especially the former May drivers and the May Trainers. You all helped me decide to go with MTC. I couldn't be happier. Orientation was good, my trainer was AMAZING. I can't believe how much I learned during my training period. Now I'm solo, in a new Pete, and constantly rolling. My DM is patient with me and keeps giving good loads. I am truly fond of this company and how well I'be been treated by them. So, again, THANKS.
I'm glad I found this forum

Good For You, there is such a wealth of knowledge to be had here, I have learned so much in the short time I have been here! Stay Safe.

That's awesome. It's great to read posts from new drivers who are happy instead of bitter and betrayed. Keep rolling, Bonedaddy.

Dang, someone fixed it. Sneaky mods! They didn't even leave a fingerprint.

I had about the same experiance with MTC as you BoneDaddy, except for the new truck. Had 2 46xx Petes with 360k and 506k. I'm ok that with as I'm a smoker and didn't want to ruin a new truck for a nonsmoker. The issues I had related to the OTR industry moreso than MTC. PEE-LOT truckstops gross me out. The whole bathroom-shower thing was the worse thing i suppose. Got home pretty much as requested. Great trainer as well. The side by side method or trianing is the way to go. First DM had been a driver for over a year w/MTC so he knew what I was going through. Made it easier to explain things. The second, I don't think knew my name, but by that time I had it down and the less said via QC the better. Is it still a shootable offense to call in with other than live load, dispatch or truck on fire?
Doing P&D locally now which suits me great. Stay safe all
And again, thanks to everyone on TTR for sharing!!!!Last edited: Sep 19, 2013
