I was wondering what the driving job situation is in The Orlando FL area.
I am looking into moving down there and would like to get some idea on what might be available.
Would not mind doing regional and being out most of the week.
Is there any opportunities that pay anything for a experienced driver?
Some on who lives in that area?
Jobs in Orlando Area?

I would check with the fuel haulers, food grade tankers, check with the grocery and drugstore distributors. I would not thnk that otr out of Orlando would be very good.

Trucking in Florida is HARD. You get freight coming in but none going back out. Although we have juice going out so if you want to pull food grade tankers otr there are a few companies near by. Bynum Transport out of auburndale, and Oakley out of Lake Wales, and then Indian River I think they are near auburndale. Now if your talking regional well everyone claims to get you home on the weekend which is usually 36 hours, from just about everyone I talk to doing regional down here they are getting about 2100 miles a week. Sure there are a handful of good local jobs but most of the old guys got them and they aint quitting till they die.............Albertsons out of Plant City is hiring right now though 16.50-19.50/hr starting pay

I don't know anything about Oakley, but stay away from Bynum and Indian River, unless you are willing to be gone, gone, and gone!!!
