you DO NOT have to take a 34 hr restart but IF you do it has to be 7 days(168hrs) from when your last 1 STARTED. Look at post 21, T/A Pete has works the last 82 days straight perfectly legal, but if he takes a 34 hr restart right now (07:41 am) he could not go back until 05:00 am Thurs. And then his next restart( IF he chooses) can not start before wed Oct.9 at 01:00am. and then he can return at )5:00 am Oct 10 (7days/ 168 hrs later)

how do you do that?
I ran up to the east coast from south texas then from new jersey to milwakee, wi, from wi to laredo, tx. dropped in laredo then came home to mission, tx a total of 4551 miles! -
There's a 28 hour reset now?
-
Actually if he goes off duty at 7:41 am Tuesday(that's when right now was) then at 7:41 am wed. he has 24 of his 34 off and 1 of his 1-5 am periods, then at 5:00 am thurs. am. he will have 45 hrs and 19 min. off duty and his second 1-5 am period. I not real sure where your getting the 28 from.

No 28 hour restart, but there is a 24 hour restart for team drivers, Driver 1 drives for 10 hours, while driver 2 take a 10 hour sleeper berth, Then they both take 24 hours off, then driver 2 drives for 10, while driver 1 takes a 10 hour sleeper berth, They both have 34 hours of for restart
