Curious: Career change?

I believe truck driving can be either a career or a job.. it depends on what you want it to be... There are drivers who have made it a successful career and there are those who just treat it as a job...

It will be up to you whether you make a career out of it.. which will take determination, planning and dedication.. it won't happen over night.. but, has been and can be done... Or, you can just make it a job and hope for the best..

It isn't just about getting your foot in the door and hoping you are one of the Lucky ones and ends up with a career..
those truckers who have succeeded in making it a career were not lucky.. they made it happen.. again, not over night..

 

How much do you make at the shipping/receiving job? If over $40k a year I would stay there. When I stop driving I want to settle down to a warehouse or dispatch job.
