I know tons of drivers that would disagree with you. I've helped tons of truckers and probably know more then most guys with 5 plus years under their belt.

I've been on a ton of forums and it's the same crap everywhere. Same questions asked over and over and over. Thread titles that aren't descriptive or match content. Bad spelling/grammar. People quick to jump to conclusions. People misunderstanding. Hurt feelings. Arrogance. Etc. Etc. Etc.

This is what you get when you have a little white box and human beings typing into the little white box, communicating without ever meeting the people they are conversing with.

It's an imperfect system of communication on the one hand, yet a brilliant form of communication on the other. It is what it is and will never improve nor change.

Its sort of like correcting grammar or spelling. Some are better at posting than others. If a thread title isn't descriptive enough that question is less likely to get answered. If a poster really wants questions answered he will learn how to form descriptive titles. Its fine though. Some of the most informative posts wander away from the original question. This topic certainly isn't worth 4 pages of bickering though.

There's the Hijack..the Sequel, Flo's Diner, and a bunch of other threads about nothing that are funny. This is not only a forum of knowledge, it's a forum of friends.

I know what you are saying but that seems to be part of forum life anywhere. Look at Craigslist.

This kind of falls in the rule against correcting one's spelling and grammar.

Next week nobody will even see this thread. Just sayin'.

Try opening only the threads that appeal to you. Then you fixed your own problem. :biggrin_25525:

If you hover the little mouse arrow over the thread title it gives you the first few sentences of the post. This is a good way to preview the post to see if your interested in it....

Since you clearly have the time to get upset over something as trivial as post titles on an internet forum, i'm more than certain that clicking on a few of them to discover what's inside won't take much away from your busy schedule...

I dont think he was offering to reinvent the trucking wheel (so to speak) more just venting about people not having a topic in their subject area of the post. I doubt he was going to tell others how to maximize their business potential.

Wow....and I thought I was arrogant.....In this situation the old adage applies...."Better to remain silent and just look like a fool , than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". :biggrin_1square11::biggrin_1square11::biggrin_1square11:
