felon looking for flatbed work

No offense, but with those stats....AND a job, I'd say you're already ahead and would be thankful to have a job at all. There are plenty of folks with perfect records struggling to find a decent flatbed job, let alone having a positive drug test and a felony "way back in '08."

I know this is an old thread but how did you get the OTR job?

 

he got the otr job due to his experience & his employer doesn't hold his past against him. I know lonelyswmtrucker personally & that's why.

 

Fantastic! I am glad that there are companies out there that still know what it means to take a man at his word, and hold him/her accountable if they turn out to be less than honorable.

 

So those of us who hold our honor as sacred 100% of the time should fare no better than those who are honorable 99% of the time? Good job 'merica!

 

A mans word used to mean something in this country. I have worked hard to have integrity but, not my whole life,,,I would be lieing if I said otherwise. I have high respect for a person of integrity but in this country we are all thrown in the same basket.

 

What makes 100% better than 99%?

Honestly 100% sounds like BS to me, at least the person who says 99% can admit they made a mistake, the person who claims to be 100% perfect sounds like BS to me. I don't know, I live in the real world. 100% might work in the internet fantasy land.
