I currently bring home around $400.00 a week running local and well that just is not cutting it for our family anymore. I am looking to go back to running the road but would prefer not to run NE. I have 6 years OTR running mostly coast to coast and the southern US. I also need to be home on weekends if possible. Not looking to get rich but need to be making more and have at least similar benefits. I have no accidents or convictions, clean criminal record and no drug or alcohol use or failed/refused tests. A few things I will not even consider: Absolutely NO LEASE PURCHASE, I know too many guys who have been burned by that. I would prefer a small company. No 62 mph trucks, I have never driven anything governed less than 72. If anyone knows of a decent company then please let me know. Also I live in Salisbury, NC, approx. 35 miles north of Charlotte on I-85.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I live about 40 miles outside of Charlotte, NC. I am looking for a small carrier preferably regional or out and back but let me know what you have, I may be interested. I can also do fill in work. I will not run for nothing so if you know you don't pay so well then don't even bother contacting me. I am not willing to stay out for 3 weeks at a time, I have a family and would like to keep it that way. I have no problem running hard and I am very self motivated but I WILL NOT run illegal, say what you will but in the end it is my record and I am going to keep it clean, taking chances adds more stress and aggravation to an already stressful job. Contact me for more information about qualifications or for my resume.
- I have haz-mat., double/triples, and tanker endorsements.
- No accidents, convictions, or CSA points.
- Current Medical card.
- 6+years OTR and 3+ local/regional
- Van, Reefer, Lift gate, and some step deck experience.
charlene2000 Thanks this.
