Called a local Community College about taking a Cdl course. They want $4000 for a four week course. Does that seem like a good deal?

Johnston Community College in Smithfield is under $1200, closer to a thousand I believe. Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington (Castle Hayne campus) runs about the same, around $1,000.Both are 8-week courses.

And then what do they give you, any credits for placement some schools work with companys for job placement once finished. I Canada I know of one school that will get you a job with one of about 6 companys (Mountian Institute) In Castlegar B.C. It's a couple of months, But because the training is so good you get a two year credit. Which means a job. I think everyone should have to do this......
