Wow!! That sucks! I don't no but I read on here something about y'all's truck numbers that shows how many people have tried to lease purchases with that truck so did 28 people or 12 or neither?

He is the original leasor. If it had an A at the end he would be the second and so on.

Hehe. It's "L" for lease, and "2812" for the truck number followed by a letter if applicable for each subsequent driver. Letters don't always mean failure either. Terry has had a few trucks that he turned in, for instance.Last edited: Oct 4, 2013

It doesn't suck at all L2812 is a 2014 evolution and I'm happy to be at jct. As a otr driver whatever truck you drive will be your home. Thanks again to sharp and Terry. Drive safe be safe.

Sharpp, do you still live in Henderson? I use to drive for JCT both as a L/O and O/O, I loved it at JCT, My DM was Mitch, I was there from Jan 08-Oct 11, I left because of family issues, I wished I had kept my lease truck when I was there, But got stupid, and tried to save some money with payments and bought a truck else where and signed it one with JCT, With all the mechanical issues I ended up with cost me more to run than the lease truck I had, Plus the lease would have been paid off a year earlier, Kick myself for the mistake, Anyone can be successful with JCT if they have half a brain, I'm going back to OTR, but don't want to lease right know, going to Western distribution out off Denver, I can make around $800. a week with them and that OK, I drove for them before as well, Plus I can get home more often with Western, My mother-in-law is 96, and is not in the best health, So, needing to get home more is most important, Maybe after she passes I might consider leasing with JCT again

Have you ever ran super single in the winter before? I had them On a truck for a while, not impressed, Fuel saving not what they say, My 379 averaged 5.9 with dual tires and then with the super singles, my average was 5.9, Only difference I found was the poor traction in winter driving, Plus the blowouts that left me on the side of the freeway was costly, so, you can have those super single, Here is something to ponder? If the super single was what they claim? Wouldn't you think Every trucking company would have switched to those?

And 3400 miles last week, and, 3300 this week doesn't suck either..

Lol didn't mean failure... I just remember someone saying something about the numbers having to do with how many drivers had that truck...

A friend switched to super singles. He eventually bought a set of Bridgestone supersingles. He had 3 blowouts and had to replace 1 or 2 wheels that got damaged. Plus roadservice fees. I think a typical roadservice was costing him about $1500. I think I'll keep my duals and just drive to the next truckstop. And I forgot to mention the time waiting on the side of the road. And you could get run into while sitting there.
