    You do have to wonder when you see that driver applicants are required to have 3 years of California experience, website says so.

    My SO didn't have to have that b/c he was regional. Its scary being a slip seat driver for a company like them...you always gotta make sure ur PTI includes truck interiorto as well as outside.

    I been thinking of going to work for them any info I can get would be helpful I would not be regional they said I would be going to California and back to Mississippi river

    Honestly....I wouldnt do it. Their hiring practices are a little shady, and added to that the fact that they do not seem to honor the HOS regs. We were told to do what we had to do to get the load there on time, regardless of how unreasonable the delivery time was. They have great equipment....its all brand new. But they push you hard. Paper logs should have been our first clue.

    Many companies run paper logs and its no big deal, but in this case, paper logs make it possible for them to push their drivers far beyond their HOS, leaving it up to the driver to write "fiction". You can edit an e log to a certain degree, but you cant fool them to go past your legal driving limit. When Chris was with Phenix, he was expected to set regs to the side, and keep on rolling, no matter what.
