The closest terminal to you is probably Springfield. It might work if you are in the southern part of Vermont. If you just fill out an application online and wait for a call you probably won't get hired. They have low turnover. If you had one spot to fill who would you hire? The guy who calls or visits in person, shakes your hand and shows some initiative or some unknown guy who filled out an online application.

I got back from vacation ready to go back to work Monday. Its slow and they didn't have anything for me until Thursday so I got to work on the yard and lined up a few contractors to put a new roof on my house. I did a Plaquemine dedicated Thursday, Friday and Sat for 1600 miles for the week. After a 34 at home I leave Monday on an Iowa City out and back. I usually run these in 3 nights and will be home early Thursday morning. -
I see u guys going into the mineral park mine in golden valley AZ. Just above kingman. We do a load of suf acid a day there . The tanks I drop into are away from everything and never get to see your drivers. Any idea where they are coming from? Was just wondering.

I have never been there myself. I have delivered Polymer to gold and coal mines in the past. We have a terminal in Parker. Its probably some of their loads if you see them frequently.lv gn Thanks this.

Thats exactly what I did. I filled out the online application and waited. Never heard anything, so after a few weeks I called and spoke with the terminal manager. She told me that they were not looking to hire any drivers at the moment. I asked her If I can still meet with her to talk to her about the company in case they had any openings in the future. She agreed. We met later that week, talked for about an hour or so, and I ended up leaving with a job offer from her. I start on Oct. 28. Wsyrob is right, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

You did it the old fashioned way. It's not being a PITA. Its showing initiative and a desire to work.
Fill out an online application for one of the Mega Carriers with 100% turnover and they will light up your phone in short order. They have thousands of seats to fill. That is not the case with Superior. -
I was looking at Superior to possibly join them, so I did some searching and came across these 2 complaints:

Anyone else have any experiences like this from them? Making me think twice about going here if their going to pull this crap. Thanks -
That article is refering to superior truck lines. This thread is for superior carriers. Two different companies.

OK, thanks ..... wasn't sure if they were one and the same
