ok. heres me problem. replaced a head gasket and starting to put things back together
when a trucker friend stops by. this is my first time doing any motor work on the rig. noticed one side is bigger than the other. this is normal. but he says there supose to b bushings or little bonnets on the valves that these fit in. i looked to all of them and none of mine have them not on valves not onside crossheads. are they all missing cuz when i took it apart i paid close attention they wernt there. also i read the big hole goes toward the exhaust side of engine? cuz one or two wernt. did the mechanic before me get in a hurry or is this right??
