Loves in Des Moines headed to Sioux Falls, SD. It's a chilly 55* may get down to 44*. At least I am not buried in 10" of snow like in a few parts of SD.

Obviously some of you guys have loaded at Dundalk. I need a TWIC should I turn it down due to inconvience?

If you don't have a TWIC it will probably cost you $200 to get an escort. If you don't already have one, you would have to apply at one of the centers (there is one at Dundalk). You won't get your TWIC for about 2 weeks...at least that is how long it has been taking for my drivers lately. So unless you already have a TWIC, I would not pay $200 for an escort to allow you to pick up a load that is paying 1.50/mi.

Most of the time it is 2-3 hours to get in and out of any of the terminals at Dundalk. If the load pays decent, I wouldn't hesitate going there. Are you registered with emodal? It is a service that they use to further verify you identity. I am not sure what is involved with registering.

you need emodal at Broening Ave. maybe, the first time I was there without it, they let me in, second time no go. It's pretty easy online, but takes a few hours to process. If it's at Amports on Childs St. I don't think you need emodal registration.

The Dundalk Marine Terminal is the Broening Hwy. So he would need emodal. Are you sure you don't nee emodal at the others? I am not sure that you will get in at all without being registered.

Home in Appleton, 700 miles in the books for today. That is enough for me.
