how do i fix speedometer? on pete 379

    Some guy took the governor off my truck and messed up the speedometer gauge. The mile recorder doesn't work either now.

    The governed speed is controlled by hooking up the laptop and selecting the speed. He probably messed up one of the parameters when he was fooling with that. You have to get someone to hook the laptop back up.

    Unless you have a real old truck? Was he behind the instrument panel or under the truck?

    I'm not sure how you did it but it wasn't a mechanic that did it was another company driver I didn't ask him to do it but he did it. its a late model truck. I'm not going to ask the company to fix it because as long as the truck runs it will not fix anything
