You should wait to go to CDL school. And Ill tell you why. When you graduate you only have 90 days to hire on with a company that hires students. On day 91 that benefit is history for you. I think you need to get the case settled, fulfill any penalty or probation, then you can ask solid questions of employers based on your record.
legal issues need advice please

GET IT DROPPED PERIOD!!! Keep it going til it's DROPPED! You're 22 it'll bite you in the arse MORE than you can ever imagine,so if it takes getting another attorney, you'll thank me 10 years from now!!!
Lepton1, GasHauler, drloveofdfw and 2 others Thank this. -
I just wanna drive its in my blood my whole family has done it I've been around it my whole life and some woman ruins my dreams
-
She's the mother of your child I take it. Stop making bad choices then you won't need to blame anyone for your problems. Break that cycle right now.Tonythetruckerdude, Charli Girl and drloveofdfw Thank this.

Whatever you do dude don't let them railroad you. Fight it in court no matter what it costs because it'll be worth it in the long run. Sound like you got screwed over and if what you're saying is true fight it because you really didn't do anything wrong in that case. Given the circumstances you might end up getting screwed a little by the legal system but that's par for the course.
I just hope you've learnt your lesson on this one and get the chance to start fresh and move on. I know what it's like to have the #### govt. prevent you from moving on with your life (and it's obvious that was their intent in my case) and it sucks. -
if you didn't do anything...why would you agree to anything but total exoneration? i"d call companies you are interested with and see what they say before going to any school.
-
A " woman" can't do anything to you that you don't agree too...As you get older you learn to "walk"
Especially in this day and time,Companies want you squeaky clean,so you have to learn NOW while you're still young to "just walk away"
ANY confrontations nowadays... You just can't afford to bare the burden, nothing's worth taking away your livelihood .
fr8te_sh8ker and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Johnm, you need to get your legal issues settled before pursuing a CDL and driving career. I understand everything you've posted here. However, I also understand that there are 3 sides to every story...yours, hers, and the truth. Get your issue settled. You're young. If driving is a dream, the opportunities will still be here when you're ready. But you're not ready now.
