I am also having trouble believing that this Driver got 4200 miles on e logs. I am on e logs and that is just not possible. I have hit 3500 once and my truck was set at 63. The load selection was almost perfect for me just to pull that off.

Yes this is a difficult one to swallow. He said he averages 3600-4200 miles a week. So if I understand the term "average" at some point he has to drive MORE than 4200 miles in a 7 day period. THAT is what I find hard to believe.

I'm srry but there is NO way ur pulling 3600-4200 miles a week. Week in an week out. Maybe 1 week u turned in 3600 ( extremely difficult in NE) but to turn around the next and do it again. Srry no way. Plus u run for Knight, so wut ur governed at 65 if ur lucky. Lol. It's just mathematically impossible. Just my .02

4200-miles/62-MPH =67.7419 hours of drive time alone, under optimum conditions.
I used the 62mph as an average. I haven't been on that side of the US since 04 and can't remember what the speed limit is. If I remember IKEA loads, they are all turn and burns at both ends. Go to DC and drop MT and p/u loaded and haul mail to whatever store and drop the loaded and p/u the MT there and deadhead right back to the DC or a different one. BUT that was also the ones in California and some of the Store, all you did was drop the trailer somewhere at the store and a local guy would do all the moving since some of the darn docks were in the weirdest locations. There was once near oakland that was in a parking garage. I actually refused to go into it until I walked through it and and found the dock. There was NO WAY a truck would get in there during the daytime.
I dunno. My last year with Knight I averaged $924 a week working Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon, driving from SLC and back twice. No way I could have done it on Elogs. God, I loved that route! Trailers always weighted around 24k both ways and my customer in SLC was a few miles from the terminal and the customer in Mira Loma was 5 blocks from the terminal there. But of course Knight had to screw it up and they lost the account. -
I left msg for a recruiter to call me about going to work there, they called me, but I was only looking for local work, they have a terminal here in Las Vegas, they said sorry nothing, ask me my driving experience, I told her, she said they can put me right in a truck for OTR, But thanked her, and said, not interested in OTR, and she was very polite and said, If you ever want to go back to OTR give us a call, well actually, I am going back to OTR, but not with Knight, I have not heard back from them, Just finding it hard to believe they call that often, with driving schools flooding rookie drivers out faster than you can change your underwear
