Hey guys Im new here and I be checking out the forum here and there. Well anyways I graudated from Trucking school in Miami, FL at the end of January and decided I wanted to do OTR because I could not get a job local without experince so I decided to go with CR England that was really my only choice.
Well im here at a hotel today in Waxahachie, TX and it's alright and I have roommate dats pretty cool. I hope he can handle my snoring. LOL! Well my oreintation starts tommorow on da 25th at 7:00. Orientation is 4 days then I go out and start training. I'm going in this with a positive attitude because I'm trying to gain experience in this Industry.
I heard a lot of negative things about this company also some positives from posters Grandma and rollingthunder but im willing to stick it out and take da punches.
I will be updated you guys probably day by day or week and letting you guys know how im doing and what I think about this sitiation and the company.
also I want feedback from you guys to see what you think negative and positive.
I will talk to you huys tommorow to let you know how the first day of Oreintation went.. Holla at me..

my first suggestion would be to stay away from their lease purchase program as long as you can. i've heard that they try to talk alot of new drivers into this program, and based on what i've seen and heard from drivers and other organizations, it ain't as good as they say it is.

Keep us updated BKC.........

Don't lease with them whatever you do. A buddy of mine went with them and leased. ~4 months into it, he turned his truck in last Sunday. Flat broke!

Oh yeah I already know about dat lease ######## and no im not going for it. I just want to be a company driver. Thanks for looking out guys....Also I will let you know how much they try to sway me to get into it when I start training and such.

Oh really I will look into that since i'm from Florida. -
Good luck! Keep a positive attitude, and soak up everything you can from your training. The first year with ANY job is always the toughest, so go into this new adventure with your desire to learn and do well. I'm not familiar with the CRE lease (other than what I've read on many forums) so listen to those who are familiar, and learn from other's mistakes. Welcome to the road!
