My company is looking for both Road and City Drivers. Either way good pay and home each day.

If you are looking to relocate into the Chicago area, and good home time is what you want, JB Hunt Intermodal has a terminal there. I drove for them out of their Memphis terminal, and at least out of Memphis it was great. Each of their terminals operates slightly differently for home time, so this may not be the case out of Chicago, but Memphis runs 5 days out, 2 days home, consistent days off. I left Tues morning, got in Sat night, got consistent miles and the benefits weren't too bad, either.

Again, that is how it was out of Memphis. Each of their terminals are different, but it's worth looking into I think.

The City driver req will be going up in the next week or two.
To me, the Road Driver job is a much better gig. More $$ and still home everyday.

I see. I assumed City driver was local and Road driver was OTR. Thanks.

City driver delivers and picks up freight in the service area for a particular service center. A road driver moves freight between company terminals only.
