mpg's for used freightliner

    I'm thinking of buying a used 2006 or 2007 freightliner, can anyone please tell me or know how much MPG's will I roughly get from a used freightliner
    with around 600k miles

    I had an 07, 14.0 Series 60; 515hp; 10sp OD; 3.58 rears on 22.5 tires, condo with cab extenders but no tank fairings. Average 5.75 (IFTA REPORTS) running 65-70 western half of the country. I probably could have done better by slowing down, idling less, etc.

    Not without MUCH more info. Engine size, rear ratio,trailer type, cab style, area of operation, but most of all your driving habits. If you are going to be a successful O / O , you should know that. It takes more than buying a truck to be sucessful, it takes a little bit of knowledge.

    Got 6.28 in the midwest 30k in the box no apu....spent some cash to bulldog it and get 7.3+ now. Same specs as what your looking at.
