I know this maybe a stupid question, but have you thought of marrying the girl?

The child support alone is a big issue, some companies may not keep you if you fall behind.

Stay away from CR England, no money there.

OTR driving for someone in your parenting situation is a big mistake. Even if you clear the legal issue up, your parenting/home life does not seem stable enough for an OTR lifestyle. Your child will likely be the one to suffer. Rethink your career choice.

I can't stress enough, you're not ready for OTR. I don't think I need to elaborate.

With all of these issues going on in your life , take some time before heading into a career that will at least to start with keep you away from your child.....they need you NOW.....give them a good footing to stand on , with a dad in their lives not on the road. Once you've had the chance to do that then think about yourself.

You're going in with a record and now you want to be choosy? Take the advice that most have given. Clear the mess up before you spend a dime. If you don't you'll waste a lot of money.

It could be a PSI (Pre Sentence Investigation). With a PSI your assigned a PO without being convicted to kinda feel you out.

But yes, get this taken care of and cleared. Your only 22 and you don't need this blemish on your record for the rest of your life. Plus, I don't know how old your little girl is, but your might want to really think of what your about to get yourself into. Your little one needs a father in her more that you need to be an OTR or regional driver since your a single parent.

No matter what your lawyer thinks or says, until the judge signs off on any agreement all of the parties make, you should just forget everything else like driving a truck. Once a judge signs off on the plea, then you can move forward.

Some judges may ignore what the DA wants and reinstate the original charges to let you decide what you do next seeing that there may be more to the story than what you are claiming.
