What was the convenience fee for? Was it for paying it online? Instead of asking here if they will pay it, why dont you just ask them?

Yes It was for paying online. I did ask them to pay it they told me I'd have to pay it then Fax all paper work to them and they would give me a Com check. Now there telling me to mail the paper work. Might not sound like a big deal but it was there fault they should of just paid it up front .

They are paying for it either way. You're splitting hairs at this point.

No disrespect, but I don't think the driver is splitting hairs. Basically, IDC is requiring the driver to make a short term small business loan to the company. The loan will be repaid, but probably not any administration fees. Also that is money that the driver has to lose from his personal accounts and wait for repayment all to cover the company's mistake. Of course, I feel the same way about paying for scales, toll bridges and roads too. Honestly, I think IDC (or any major company) should be cutting you comchecks for those items in advance. At GTI, you just ran the company fuel card for CAT scales (one of the things they did right).

That's just my opinion. I think IDC is a fine company, but there are areas for improvement.

Palazon,,, you are right on with your post, I know there are those that will say "well that's the way it's always been done" well, this is now a memory stick world, not 8 track. This should have been taken care of by the Co as soon as it came up, they knew it was a leget claim not just a dream of the Driver, they would have received a receipt for anythinng they paid and the 'bean counters" would have accepted it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Definition of an Auditor = they come in after the war and shoot the wounded"
