I have a cousin here in Los Wages, who is a cop, been on a couple of ride-alongs, where he has pulled over drunk driver that blew over 1.1, saw one guy that blew a 1.5, but he was so drunk ,he didn't know his own name, Kind of surprised he could even blow long enough to do the test
correction, just called cousin, stand corrected, the guy blew a .15, I'm getting older and surfer from CRS syndrome![]()

Its "." (or Point) then the number. He said point 1.1 which is basically .1.1 which makes no sense so I assume he meant point 11 or .11. Either way, if the cop was mean he could have brought up criminal charges at that level. The Op should consider himself lucky. Also i most states he would have lost his C class for atleast 90 days.

Wow! A human being posts a seemingly heart felt admission of his error in judgment and glass house dwellers rise to the occasion.

I don't live in a glass house when it comes to drinking and driving.FatDaddy, flightwatch, randal02lee and 3 others Thank this.

Apology accepted and kudos to you for admitting your error. That being said I have zero tolerance for drinking and driving but I don't fee the need to pile on.
Tonythetruckerdude, 48Packard, FEELTHEWHEEL and 2 others Thank this. -
Not sure if you're just an attention hound or seeking pity or sympathy.
Anyway I assure you, you'll get none from me. I understand the guilt you feel. However I question the intelligence in making this post in the first place. Seems if I were you. I would have said nothing bowed my head took my consequences and silently fade away. With out the big apology production.dutchieinquebec, Leftlane101, Richter and 5 others Thank this. -
Kinda like standing on a street corner shouting at passing cars. I don't get this at all.
CertifiedSweetie and tow614 Thank this. -
This was the way I saw it also....no need for the "drama" ...or , to let us know....But Richter made some really valid points....Drinking and driving should be looked at very harshly , by everyone , mainly because it does affect everyone. But a person with a CDL must hold themselves to a much higher standard , that license comes along with the great responsibility of being RESPONSIBLE.........Richter, TwinStickPeterbilt, FatDaddy and 5 others Thank this.

The man is taking responsibility for his lack of judgement, and by posting on here trying to use the experience as a teaching tool for newer drivers.
I for one applaud his courage for stepping up and opening himself up to the brow-beaters and naysayers that I'm sure he knew wouldn't be able to control their impulse to shame others.
Everyone makes mistakes. Its those that don't learn from them that deserve scorn.fr8te_sh8ker, FEELTHEWHEEL, Clyde07 and 6 others Thank this.
