Just sit down at the bar in the Petro. Lots of 'boobs' there. And a lot cheaper too.
Although the entertainment value might not be the same... -

Hit the links today with the wife. Shot a 72 on a par 68... Not bad seeing I have not played a true 18 for a few years. Getting ready to head out for some surf n turf at the local Pub and have a few adult beverages as well. Then taking the wife to Chicago for the Bears game tomorrow night and then going to spend our anniversay with some friends in the city and maybe go to the zoo.
Heading out Sunday morning for Norfolk to drop off my container then reload another run back to Rock Falls, IL.Clasix1055, milskired and Logan76 Thank this. -
Still @ Iowa80, watching NCIS...
Our one customer is down for a week so I don't load out ta Chicago until tomorrow... -
Headed for the house tonight. Loaded going to NC/SC supposed to have a load Saturday outtA SC back to Indiana

Found a nice watering hole in Spiceland,Indiana. On interstate 70, same exit as that flyingJ to the east of Indianapolis. Same side of the road as the flying J but across the road from that 'Taste of India' truckstop?(looks like a truckstop).
Anyways, the name of the place is "Montgomery's Steakhouse". Nice place, good food+adult beverages. HUGE parking lot. Nice people. Beats the heck out of eating at Denny's.dannythetrucker and SHC Thank this. -
Story City, IA unloading in the morning. The load board has something here going to a dead area of Texas. The description has me to believe I can unload and load without even moving the truck, but I may have to DH 500 miles to find anything. This would keep me busy for most of the weekend, but it isn't paying that much

I dunno.... I was hoping to be home this weekend, but I don't think it's going to happen.Last edited: Oct 9, 2013
