I mentioned my friend, a gal, who owns water trucks and makes REAL money through the summer. I mentioned to her one time the advantage that a guy has... plumbing. She laughed for a long time and finally, when she could stop, said she always envied the convenience of a guy's... plumbing.
Most of the time a pee bottle saves us lots of trips. (I use a one gallon plastic Arizona tea... ). Then sometimes you need a porta potty equivalent and a poop bag, a seat on a five-gallon bucket for a loo. My point is that 883 doesn't have to walk across the TS parking lot at 3:00 a.m. if she doesn't want to and either do you, jw. Lotta time I dunwanna either.
Would I make a good driver?

Safety Tips from CDL Life/Missing Truck Driver Alert Network
I found this posted to CDL Life. This is a list of precautions to take which may help you in case you ever go missing. I'd hate to hear of anyone from this forum disappearing. Truckers have gone missing... Not always with favorable endings.
Stay in regular contact with friends and family. Someone cares about you.

yeah.. I know about the per bottle and in cab restroom accommodations... And the GoGirl device that enables a woman to pee standing up.. for me, I just don't like to go where I sleep, eat and work.. so, I trek across the lot to the restroom.. flush, wash my hands and trek back to my truck.. but, yes there are other choices one can make.. and there can arise the emergency nature. Call when you just can't get to a rest room... Fortunately for me that has not happened...
I am the type that with any decision I make I look at "what's the worst".. I look at what I may not like and what is in my control to deal with or change it for the better... I like to have a realistic pros and cons list and go from there.. -
I'm the same way. Just found out today I can't get my CDL for another 11 months because I'm a new resident. Huge bummer. But I'll keep checking back in for sure and save all of this until then!!

Well I know having to wait another year.. 11 months is disappointing.. but, on the positive side you have plenty of time to research, make contacts and create a solid plan for yourself.. sometimes, set backs turn out to be detours to a better road...
jw298 Thanks this.
