Leaving for Orientation 10-13-12 in Tulsa,Ok

Melton has become a training wheels co.

 

Seems like most of the drivers I run into have been here for over 5 years. I can think of only one driver that I've talked to that has less driving experience than I do. I'm going on 2 years OTR.

 

I lied. I can think of 3 now. I've talked to probably around 100 Melton drivers, and one of my first questions is "how long have you been with Melton?" Followed by "how long have you been driving?".

 

Must have been a mass email, because you would start at .43 cpm....unless you have been off the road a while

 

No it wasn't a mass email... It was addressed to me personally From a person in recruiting.

 

Yeah. I get those too. And I've been employed for over 2 years.

 

The same person who sent me the email also called me and left a voicemail on my phone yesterday as well.. The email stated all drivers will go to $.42mi After 120,000 miles with Melton... Starting pay $.33 a mile..

 

I'm on hometime and I had no problem getting it.
