One of my associates sent me a pic of a trailer in Monroe,Michigan. Someone removed the wheels in the middle of the night. I haven't seen anything like that since I quit hanging out at the Walt Whitman truckstop in the mid 90s.

 

Not "cheating" the system, just operating it efficently..... and everything matches up just fine. All the paper trails will colaberate such as fuel times, scales and such.

 

@ years ago Quality Carriers bought 75 new Brener tanks and they dropped them off at the Markham, IL facility. 2 days later every one of the trailers was missing the outside tires on the dual tandems

 

Truck is dropped off at the dealership and I'm home.

Going to do a little bit of my nut and bolt business tomorrow and maybe cut some wood. If my truck is done tomorrow i'll haul soybeans Saturday. Sunday i'm going to work on deer stands and go goose hunting in the afternoon.

 

I salute you. The next adult beverage at the gentlemens club will be drank in your honor.

 

Its not cheating... I routinely take my break while loading and unloading and haven't had anyone say something to me about it. Its a great way to get it out of the way

 

wheres does it say you cant go off duty while loading or unloading??? if you have no responsibilities at the time its perfectly legal. I have been a lucky guy, in 33 years it has never taken over 30 minutes to load or unload my truck.
