Comcheck fee at my carrier is $1. Saves $2 or $3 over an ATM. I can swipe my Comdata card for a purchase without fees from the personal account just like a debit card. For the record... I put $100 per week on the Comdata card that I use for incidentals, and just in case. The rest is a DD.

Not sure what is so complicated about it. After your payroll is put on card just use the phone prompt to transfer all of it (without a fee) into your checking account. As Skootertrash already noted, the other option is to write yourself a comcheck, authorize it using on the phone prompt and cash it when after you fuel up at the truckstop. Most truckstops charge a nominal fee or no fee if you fill. You could also leave some comchecks with your significant other and use the phone prompt to put put money on their check. I personally liked the process when I was at May and never experienced any glitches on the payroll side using comdata.Lilbit Thanks this.

So you are saying they did finally opened up the debit card part? It only took them 20 years, lol. It might not be so bad then. I still hate ATMs with a passion.

Back in my Coke days I was two-wheelin' and bumped into an ATM and the door popped open!
There was another combination door behind it though. I thought I was rich for a second.
ironpony Thanks this. -

I just have my money go right to my bank. I call press # 2 all done
Also my trainer said if you get fuel for about an hour you get a transaction for free toTNTHARLEY Thanks this. -
Thanks KHC, good to know.

But why use the ATM? you can pay for everything you need with the ATM card just like a credit card, I never use the ATM, Pay for everything with the card, NO comdata for me

Toll booths don't take plastic. Lumpers don't take plastic. Buying pallets usually doesn't get done with plastic.

When you are in orientation at May they will explain how the card works it is very easy. Bring a void check and they will have you fill out a paper. And on that you will also put your card number ( off the card they will give you )
Pay period is Saturday to Sunday for training ELD's and you are paid on Thursdays. The same day you receive your card call the number and set up with your pin number it will prompt you on how when you call.
To have check transferred : call number enter card number then you enter your pin and # it sign it will ask you what you want press number 2 then the amount of money you want to go into your bank account.
If you mwant to.write a comcheck press 1 everytime you get fuel you.recieve free transaction. Here is the good thing you will get fuel a lot so dont worry lots of times to dao this.
For lumbers: you will just right them a comcheck (iv not done this yet but it does not seem to complicated) its all part of the job.
Tolls we have a pass for some but you always need cash because the pass does not work on all.
When ever you need fuel you will request it on the computer
If you need a lumber you will request money for that on the computer
At first it is a lot to take in but you will lean it with out even knowing you did
Lol look I wrote all this and I did not know I even remembered it lol
Good luck
Ps now if only the trip planning was as easy lol

The debit card option was available in 2008 when the hubby was with Celadon.
