I should know my fate by the end of the month and hopefully be going to trucking school next month fingers crossed....

You are making a mistake. You should listen to the advice posted in this thread

Yeah i guess. i got a letter from my local bricklayers so Iu'm prob gonna do that

No probation officer would keep you from getting a job even if it's on the road. It's a misdemeanor which isn't a real big deal. What's going to get you is trucking is a safety sensitive job and any potential trucking employer is going to think "He endangered a child. Is he going to endanger the public in my truck". They'll see you as not stable.
A school will lie to you, a recruiter will lie to you. They'll sucker you in as part of their payday. The true test doesn't come until you get to the trucking company and they start interviewing and evaluating you. Then they might send you home after you got that far.
I'd put a little time in between all this. Get you a local job as a warehouseman or something like that. You'll get some insight to part of the trucking world and are able to take care of matters at home.
You definitely need a job. Every young person goes through the maturity stages so don't take it personal when I say you are not ready for the stress of trucking. I would wait a year or two.
But I'm just going on what I read here. None of us really know you.
I just read the bricklayers as I was typing, lol. Yeah that would be good. Any of the construction trades are fun and pay decent. You might like it and not look back. Good luck. Watch them woman. Sleep with one eye open! lmao

Well OK, I guess but to trust people who can't make decisions is a bit foolish. It is the judge and no one else can make decisions of what will happen.
-
It don't matter i won't be a trucker. its to picky and full of compaints and i gotta offwer from the bricklayers union instead its a lot better. But my dads about.to buy a gatbage company so i got other options otr is full of negitivity.
-
Yep, truck drivers are a bunch of whiners. That's a fact. Well, except for me.
-
On behalf of everyone else, we're very sorry we killed your dream. I said you weren't ready and you just proved it.
-
