I almost got a job there last month. But for whatever reason they called me and said they went with someone else. I passed the road test and drug test.I dont know maybe something in my background? I have a clean record of no accidents in the last 5 years and no felony's so I don't know what they could have found. Im still want to drive a tanker I am gonna try another company. Do you have any suggestions?

Stay away from Energy Dispatch/Raceway. You will regret ever going there. If you like to work 14 HR DAYS/Nights for less than 200.00 a day then go for it. They will bring you in and make you think they are the best paying fuel transporter in the area.LOL

Nobody works 14 hr days at Energy Dispatch , more like 10 1/2 to 11 . They guarantee $200 a day , most make $225 and up. These are the facts.

I work for Kenan in SC. I've been here for 6 years now. We're currently on our 4th terminal manager since I've been here. The 1 who hired me retired, his replacement was fired for incompetence, the 3rd manager was great, but he's currently out, due to illness (cancer). The acting terminal manager is also a good one, he takes care of the drivers. I work night shift (15% more pay to work nights as opposed to days) and average about $240 a night, the average night lasting about 12 hours. It's load pay, not hourly. The benefits are great, which I can personally attest to, having lost my wife a few years back, and the insurance took care of just about everything. My truck is a little older, having about 700,000 miles on it, but we have a great lead mechanic, and out trucks here, anyway, are well maintained. I guess it just all depends on your location, your terminal manager, etc. For me, the situation is a good one. I hope this helps you out.
