First night alone, was going great but then had a breakdown and sat over two hours... When I got to the terminal I stripped my trailer The other guy had the outbound ready. Truck gave me problems going home too. Went to my dispatcher and he gave me to take another truck which will be my permanent. Its a solid truck from what I'm told

been slacking on here, so heres the update.
GOt my tractor on tuesday, its an old overnite truck, its loud, shakes and rattles... AKA my kind of truck, what Im used too from majority of the trucks from my last job.
My terminal had been cool with me, although the place I go too every night really needs to get their heads out of their rears. The other night I we ad 2 trailers ready to go, I bring the bills in and they say ok you can go, but wheres your forklift, we need it for our guy. So I tell him where it is, and after having me wait 20 minutes they decide they will have another guy do a via to my terminal with the one trailer and tell me go back out to load another, I look at them and say with what forklift now? I had to go out and help the other guy on my run...
Although last night wasnt bad, normally I strip one trailer then load mine, they had me do a 2nd strip but it turns out they had one trailer loaded and one of their guys loading my other, so I guess it worked out then. But got to leave at a good time and beat all the traffic coming back.
When I got back as soon asclocked out the TM asks me to hold on a few and he needed me to do something real quick. I wait and he sayswanted me to do a delivery to help out his guys, but once he said you usually wait their up to 4 hours I aid I couldnt do it as I only have 2.5 till my 14 so I went home
Well tonights friday, hopefully its an early night the gf is coming for the weekend so I dont want to be too tired on saturday lolThe Challenger and Marksteven Thank this. -

Yea there's no shortage of work. Got back a little after five and stayed for another 2 hours switching trailers around. By choice though, I could've went home instead
