I will be in Phoenix tomorrow and the weather has been great on this trip. I am on US-93 and it is a nice drive. I will see if I can stop in the main office as well. Any place besides CA these days will be fine with me. Also it is nice to run down here to give the truck some test runs. If it should break down I rather sit on the side of the road in the lower 48. Feeling kind of silly with all the winter gear in the truck going to AZ. Maybe I can make it snow there since I am planning on having the truck washed tomorrow.

She does love her mom. When I come home I usually get the "Crap he came back look" :biggrin_25519:

Whoever finds out about Canada first please post so we all can know what the rules are. I know that I have never had a recruiter lie to me about anything.(LOL)

this morning, in the dark. i got my first hand taste of one of the SHEET streets you all keep talking about on the east.

a very sharp 90 to the right then left. with a nice RR bridge hanging over. good thing traffic was smart to leave me room to back up and swing WIDE.

This my friend is why I highly prefer the west coast... rates may be cheaper for o/o but even in los angeles I don't have to deal with turns like that... I love me some room

the northeast was defenitly NOT designed for truckers.

hauled butt to get to the closest truckstop before i ran out of hours. got 8 miles shy anyways. last night i camped at a kwik stop. 10 truck spots but inside was very nice. showers, cafe, and a basic grocery store. the kwik stop i'm at for the next 34 hours. has 50 truck spots. and lots and lots of doughnuts and muffins. there's a steakhouse next door. but it's not open for some reason. and a yard with tons of trailers.

i'm bascially screwed for food and and shower till sunday.

The Northeast was set up for horse and buggy. They just adapted in the newer area's lol. But you get into New England, and even Philly you get into some of the old stuff.

Man, I could get used to staying close to home. Ran hard for three whole days of short runs (lol). used one tank of fuel, made a weeks worth of money and now sitting in my living room with a beer in my hand and watching my Huskies take on the Ducks. This trucking thing is easy.
