That's true. However, I choose not to be one of those.
No one on earth can care all the time , about everything . But, I know right from wrong. I've done wrong things before , probably will in the future , if I'm not careful. It's easy to do. But I try not to.
And I know , if I intentionally do wrong , it comes back to bite me in the butt , always at a bad time , ( like there's ever a good time , LOL ) , and its always twice , at least , as bad. I never liked being spanked , as a kid , and don't like it now.
They'll get their spanking , if what has been said so far is true, and if it is , they'll deserve every bit of it. And I , for one , will Cheer the Government on, for doing their Real job , for once, of actually keeping the playing field level.
And if mans justice isn't adequately served , remember , there's another justice , and it Will be served. We may never hear of it , but it will happen , as surely as the sun will rise tomorrow.
As to pilot/j , I haven't bought their fuel for quite awhile now , likely won't in the future , but sure will use their parking lot , when they're free , whenever I absolutely need to. Cost them money , instead of making them money , without doing dirty things , like pissing on their walls. That doesn't hurt them , just their employees.
Hit them in the Pocketbook , my friends . That's our real way of getting even.

Looks like the feds have the crosshairs on...jimmy haslam!!

Lester Munson, a legal analyst with ESPN has stated that the FBI is currently investigating whether Jimmy Haslam, the CEO of the company, owner of the Cleveland Browns, and brother to the Governor of Tennessee, was involved in or knew about the alleged fuel rebate scam.


“They are going through literally millions of pages of documents,” said Munson in an interview on ESPN. “They are interviewing and re-interviewing witnesses, and sometime between now and February of next year we will find out whether Haslam himself will be charged in this massive fraud.”


Despite Haslam’s claims that he knew nothing about the fuel rebate scheme the FBI affidavit, two confidential informants, and now “unnamed lawyers involved in the investigation of Pilot Flying J,” think otherwise.


“Late last month, federal prosecutors, in a major signal, arranged to postpone the sentencing of the seven to allow the FBI to continue its probe,” wrote Munson in an ESPN article. “The delay shows that the investigation is growing beyond earlier expectations, say lawyers and an investigator involved in the probe who spoke to ESPN.com on condition of anonymity.”


Though there have been no official reports confirming or denying, it now appears very likely that Haslam will be charged with a crime. If he does end up being charged, he will be in very serious trouble. According to Munson, “There is so much money involved and it would be such as massive case that it would be the kind of charge that would absolutely certainly produce penitentiary time.”

The Haslam's are republicans. I wonder if they had contributed to Obama if this investigation would have gotten anywhere?!! I have no idea whether Jimmy is guilty or not. It does seem that they may be on more of a witch hunt. It does seem that you can literally get away with murder if you are closely tied to this administration (Eric Holder), but if you are on the other side, better watch out!

 

... yeah, just go to a Flying J or Pilot and ask if you can change the TV station away from Fox News.... see what happens...

People are much too quick to jump to conclusions. Pilot has been ripping off some customers. What is not known is how high up the fraud goes. Some of those accusing Jimmy Haslam have been offered deals if they will rat him out. He may or may not be guilty. They could just be trying to incriminate him in hopes of getting a reduced sentence. He very well could be guilty. One thing that I do know is that his brother, who is governor of Tennessee, decided to NOT set up a state run insurance exchange for Obamacare. This could be retaliation for him standing up to Obama. Or, it may not have anything to do with it. I am usually skeptical when it comes to government accusations of those who oppose or stand up to them. If he is guilty then I am sure that he will suffer the consequences of his actions. The way things have been done in this administration, those with differing political views have been targeted by the IRS and others. Again, I have no idea either way. But, I think everyone deserves the benefit of a doubt.
