That time of year again. Series 60, turned on both valves for heat, but it seems I am getting no fluid thru the heater core on firewall. Maybe I have a valve that is stuck shut? Any suggestions or anyone else have this issue before? Heater core has been empty all summer because I have to clamp the lines because the actuater is broken. Could the heater core be plugged up?

doubtful, could be the actuator vibrated shut or one of the manual valves screwed up and didn't open. is the engine temp ok? because if the termostats are stuck open that will cause a cold situation.

How do I get to the actuator on firewall? Is it the four bolts up there, and then pull the whole HVAC unit away from firewall?

I suppose you've already checked the coolant, but low coolant will give no heat and not always make the engine run hot. Always better to check the simple stuff first.

1999 kw t 2000. Checked all obvious stuff, now I need to get to the actuator. It has to be that, as coolant is hot in both the supply and return line thru the heater core. Anyone know how to access the actuator on this thing?

On my old W-9 it is located inside the heater core box on the passenger side inside firewall, not sure about the T-2000, a call to the nearest KW dealer could tell you for sure.
