Its in that 500 page novel called a DRG. One time they wanted me to claim detention at a cons that was first come first serve. I asked how can I do that? I didn't have an appt. Do it anyways. I did it but payroll probably laughed because I didn't get one cent. I am sure they tried to put the screws to that customer and get some money out of them.

Maybe it changed from when I did that. Last couple times I claimed detention, got nothing. Whenever I'm at customer for a long time now, fm tells me to claim it.
I just send back ok and ignore it. Not worth the hassle. It shouldn't be like trying to do a long tax form. Not for ten bucks an hour.

Marshfield door loads suck. Every load I have had now has been ###### up beyound belief. I am a flatbedder not a flippin curtain side puller.

Could have, but I'm trying not to poke the Tiger know what I mean? I get great miles 3000K + weekly and get along great with my dispatcher, so I'm tolerant more than I probably should be I guess. Doesn't mean I won't gripe if I get stiffed again however.

Says right in the DRG no detention time for your 10 hr break, so you lucked out. I think it's a crock, but what can you do other than go back on duty and then chances are good the load is late and you get dinged for that.

That's the thing that bothers me the most. I'm sure Roehl charges the customer for their truck sitting there all day, but they want to keep it all for themselves instead of passing some of it on to the driver who got paid ZERO while he sat.

    Projektf350 Thanks this.

Exactly why they make it so hard. Most drivers probably just say F it and let it go while Roehl collects from the shipper.

Be sure and scale it. They are bad about pushing limit.
I got stuck with a curtain from there a few weeks back.
    I was over gross.

I agree , I think by design the redundancy in the messages just wear down most drivers.
I always claim detention when possible. Just follow the DRG to the T.
Show check in and out times on log.
    Send in macro 8 & 61 before 4.
You cannot claim first 2 hrs or hours after your 14 expires.
    I can't remember getting denied.
