I talked to him last week , apparently a small child squeezed between the bars in his cage and he scared it , bit it , then threw some poo at it so he has been under quarantine.

What kind of freight does Melton typically haul ( I know it's anything that will legally fit), just want to get an idea where I could potentially travel if I came on board.
-
I can't think of any flatbed freight we don't haul much of. we don't haul a lot of oversize or roll on freight. we go everywhere and follow no lanes really although some areas are busier than others freight wise so you will go through there more like texas and chicago

I got my first western extrusion load. I am not sure why the seem to care about rain. These guys have half
the loads on the trailers in the rain...LOL. and the inputted my home time.request in wrong so I wont make it home.on Friday. 2nd time in a row I wont make it home when I want to. -
They don't care about rain. Everything you haul out of here is going to a few main places--trailer builders (truck, auto, AND boat), and places like shower door installers and such. Majority of the extrusions leaving there will spend its lifetime getting wet. That said, there is a reason for us tarping it. You've only had one load, and I don't know what it looked like, but you didnt complain so I'm assuming it was easy. I've had loads where I used 20 straps and STILL had things that were not strapped down. We are required to tarp these loads because they are so ugly looking, and they want to keep the prying eyes of the DOT from seeing such...

haven't got it yet. It wont be ready til 8 pm tonight. The off to Henderson CO. By Thursday morning. Your Gatling answer make since to me now. Haven't seen the load yet. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated
-
if you have a one stop to henderson co, you're going to merritt...they make our boxes and headache racks and such....it will be an easy load.
and dont wait till 8. it is almost always done several hours beforehand... -
Does any one else have a problem with the bunk heater at altitude? Seems like if I am over 5000 feet I can't keep my heater running.
