You know its kinda creepy iam all alone at this rest stop. I am in the middle of timbuck too, behind trees and not insight of the road. No other truck has pulled in at all. A random 4wheeler comes in and leaves.

So if i dont ever post again i got killed by a axe murder or something lol.

You know where this is heading right? Only breaks in designated areas. Geofencing of truck stops, specific customers and terminals. It's a scary scary thing. If the company doesn't start doing it rest assured someone will create a programs to match GPS location to places that would be acceptable for parking.

Speaking of that.... I should talk to the speedgauge folks about this to see if they want to get started. I think I could sell this..... hmmm.

My truck PC Co-Pilot routing lets them know if I'm out-of-route (even when it's wrong) the instant you stray, so it knows when your moving, your speed, heading...exact location, so they just need to add a software program to that with company approved safe parking locations and...dop!

It's their own loss if they implement something of the sort. The more the truck sits the less they make. If they want to play hardball with breaks and such fine, but no complaining when loads are late because we need to find "designated areas" for breaks.

So you move the truck from the sleeper berth?

Good man! I've been there several times. Once pulled in to a high school parking lot with only a minute left, just north of Chicago after a two hour back-up. Took an 8 hour split sleeper break and just as I was leaving a cop came in to see why I was there.

    Nothing's perfect.

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to legally log everything with the Qualcom and still make money. When I drove for another carrier I could edit everything except line 3, so it was pretty easy.
