    Just watch your hard breaking and all....if you do get a "critical event" (stupid), they will check your speed and if they see a consistent speed that is against their solo driver policy, they will turn that truck down....

    Yea, JCP is short drivers for their loads tomorrow so I was asked to help them out for the day.

    Blah, better not become a habit.

    hanging count hasnt5 gotten larger yet jake. Just increased load frequency per store per week. Wasn't supposed to start til the 21st.

    Howsw goodyear now you been on it a couple weeks? Pay what you'd expected?

    Yea, pay is there, just what they said. Account is good, I like it, and am in good shape now. LOL

    My JCP load tomorrow is only to one store??? Never had that before, hope it isn't to big, 4 hour drive there and 4 hour drive back doesn't leave much room for error.

    split load. So far what I've seen one these splits is 20-28 pallets and 2k or so of hanging. Can be done in an hour if you work steady. Then again I have my routine that works really well. I seperate as I take them down. Store employee just has to keep me in empty racks.
    Guessing it to michigan? lansing or flint? roseville?

    sorry for the late response and I rarely get on here anyways. But alot of places in Long Beach and wilmington and that whole dang area don't allow parking from 10pm-6am. But with that said, the El Monte intermodal yard is a prime staging spot. About 30 minutes away and you can find parking in the TBO area if you can't find parking anywhere else. I always stage at that yard for a delivery or after.

    Ah yeah, makes sense. They do share a lot of resources. Just too bad he can't get it done , bulk starts ramping up in jan, and it seems vans slow down then. I do remember talking to a guy in Houston that was in the same boat and he somehow got it done. Wish I could remember who he talked to.

    I went to Brighton MI, 20 pallets, 1700 hanging.

    Appointment at 0800, got there at 0730, done by 0845.

    Seemed like a cake walk compared to throwing tires LOL. Got to see my TE from way back when I started with SNI, he was in the office when I went to get my paperwork. Another guy in there asking my 1000 questions about how the Goodyear account is, he says all the drivers want to switch, some guy named Ken already did and he loves it LOL.

    with respect to them in the office during the day, it has some definite room for improvement in my estimation. I'm done beating my head against the wall trying to push change though. Lack of communication from them on what is happening from week to week, issues raised failed to get addressed or are "shrugged at". Could be so much better, I think. Like having a book made up like walmart does or that route notes paper they have. Make all our jobs easier. But no.
