Howdy! This is DocFrank back from the boonies with a question. Can anyone tell me about K&B? I know they're a reefer company and guarantee 2500 miles minimum a week and have been trucking since 1986, but what are they like to work for? Any experiences good or bad from them would be much appreciated! Thanks and Don't let the Minahunees get you!

I drive for kb been there almost 2 yrs.Im a local driver but do talk to a lot of dispatchers. They're great ppl to work with. Its a very laid back company. They do guarantee you $950.00 a week only thing is you have to be available for loads. They are on elogs and have APUS in all their trks. They have beautiful and well maintained equipment. Many of the otr drivers have been there for yrs they get the miles and are happy with them.KB flies you in for orientation.

Thank you so much for your input, they seemed like a nice company but what can you really tell from a recruiter. Anyway thanks again and Don't let the Minahunees get you.

I wish there were more K&B drivers happy with the company who would post here. All I read is extremely negative but the fact is I live in Chattanooga and either their SE fleet or Chatt dedicated would be perfect for me. Seems I get a note from the recruiter (Sean) almost once a year but I still don't take the job because of lack of positive reviews. Pattyj, see if you can enlist a few more OTR drivers from K&B to weigh in, I'm ready to get out of local driving here in Chattanooga and as always, K&B is on my radar but really needs to do something to convince me.

The ones that have negative reviews have bad attitudes.Their posts proves that.I wouldn't want them driving for me either.Like any other company, they just want you to do your job.I have spoke with many otr drivers and they all seem happy with kb.SOme has been there like over 10 yrs.The local drivers 15 plus yr.My boyfriend this is his 11th yr.I know Sean, hes really laid back. The ppl there aren't stuck up.They know drivers are the backbone to the company. They all talk to the drivers like people. Its really a relaxed environment.KB has a fb page that would be more then happy hearing from you and answer any questions you may have.

Check out YouTube "Runhard Getpaid". His name is Abe and drives for K&B. He seems to really like them and says they keep him busy. I'm sure you could message him through his Youtube channel and speak directly to him about what questions you have. Good luck.

Does K&B have automatic transmissions or manual transmissions? If they do have manual transmissions, how many speeds are there to the manual transmissions?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
