I parked at the shopping center about a mile west of there behind the Burger King. When you get off I-40 and come to the light, Ingles is to the right, shopping center is to the left

Yea I've been there... No overnight parking, they've got a crappy staging area they will let you use a couple hours early

If your going up 26 there's a truck stop exit 44, otherwise the loves in marion x86 or the TA x37 depending which way you are coming from that truck stop at x44 on 26 is your best bet... It's called mountian energy or something... Small mom and pop gas station type with about 50 spots
-
I found a small truck stop off of 40 so I pulled in....big enough to fuel, park, eat and take in some football...so I thought....turns out there is no fuel...at all and the restaurant is down for repairs....so I am sitting at Loves... a few extra miles but comfortable for now.....
Thanks for all the reply's.... -
One great thing about Sunco is I've never had to fight to get any kinda extra pay... I got empty this morning in Salem, VA... They offered me a load picking up in Roanoke with three stops in florida, the only problem is the first stop unloads 3pm Friday in MacClenny... But there are paying a $300 layover... I'll sit up here in 50 degree weather (don't have to run the truck) for a day for $300 any time they'd like!

That's where I'm headed right now....Kroger/Salem.....for Fri morning delivery.......I hope they give me a load like that out of there......I knew every once in a while there was layover pay....but didn't think it was that much.....I guess it depends on each situation........That's a good one.....layover pay plus stop offs plus you might be able to go home for a bit......or maybe even catch some Thursday night football somewhere

It's the only Kroger I've ever been to that's somewhat quick...

They usually load me out of maple leaf in Roanoke or Baxter in marion when I get up here... Both good loads, one you've got DH one you've most likely got stops... I'd be a happy camper if they could just preplan a little better... It's my only major complaint about Sunco... I like to know what I'm doing

Even though I do not drive for them, I feel ya brother. I think we all want to know what were doing.
