Question, If you have a hazmat load (placard) and you have a prepass and they give you a green light to by pass out on the highway and you have just entering that state line where that first scale house is at. Do you have to pull in because you are placard? I have a mix response with this. Why would you pull in and why wont you pull in. Thk in advance. Happy trucking

Green light means go in my book. Not aware of anything saying you must pull in just because of regular placard.

Stop if the signs tell you to stop.

If you have Prepass normally there is signs out on the road that says something to the sort haz-mat trucks must enter scales, I know Ohio is one of those states. You can check with prepass they have a card that tells you what states you still must pull in with haz-mat loads

    From my limited memory...

Hazmat must enter scales. Not sure if it is certain states or all.

I do hazmat everyday. Green means go. Unless a posted sign says other wise. Like Ga if you get a red light but then get the bypass the sign say hazmat loads to rear.

Guess I am wrong then. I always follow signs when haulin H/Mat, don't go in unless told to. But I only run in SE region now, other states must be different.

This is what I been told by big company. When you first enter into state where the first scale house at state line, with placard you must enter that first one. The rest thru out the state you can by pass with green light.
